![]() Question Hello, I have an old silver H Bettoney Columbia Model. Annotated Checklist of Flutes and Piccolos by The Cundy-Bettoney Company Checklist in serial number order NMM 3037. Stamped in the piccolo is H Bettoney CBCO Boston (The CBCo is for Cundy-Bettoney Co) The serial number L2421 is stamped to the right of the left index finger rest, and also on the back of the head joint above the tenon. 1920, made by H Bettoney of Boston, and sold by Beacon Musical Instrument Co 229 Stuart St Boston Mass. Other than the patent date and the year and the serial number. The serial number is the same on all three pieces. I believe this is a Bettoney or Haynes flute.
